Litter Disposal Program at Sripada - 2015

Adam's peak is one of the most popular religious places in SriLanka among buddhist pilgrims and tourists. Thousand of people visit Adams peak each year and as a result, the place gets littered with large amounts of polythene and plastic. Here is a glimpse of the attempt made by UEC to remove the polythene and plastic for the protection and conservation of nature, The annual litter disposal program organized by the University Explorers' Club of University of Peradeniya.
