PeraCHAMPS Inter School Adventure Hiking Competition 2018 will be held on 13/10/2018. UEC members from all 9 faculties are working enthusiastically in the preparation of the event.

peraCHAMPS Inter School - 2018 (Opening Ceremony)

The biggest event of University Explorer's Club of University of Peradeniya ,"peraCHAMPS Inter School Adventure Hiking Competition 2018" was started on 13th October 2018 at 7am in the university ground premises .At first the president of UEC addressed welcoming all the teams to this grand event . After that honorable guests who were invited including vice chancellor - Prof. Upul B Dissanayake ,Senior treasurer of UEC Prof. Jagath Gunathilake address the gathering. There after the secretary of UEC explained about the game events .

19 teams ware included with 8 members in this event making it more and more competitive .After addressing all the teams , they were given a chance to sign on the backdrop . Finally game events were started warming up session .

PeraCHAMPS Inter School Adventure Hiking Competition 2018 was started at 7.00pm from the university ground premises. Competitors had a great opportunity to capture the excitement in the following events.

*Map reading

*Boat Ride

*Spider net

peraCHAMPS 2K18 - Closing Ceremony

The closing ceremony of "peraCHAMPS " 2018 was held at EOE Pereira theatre faculty of engineering ,University of Peradeniya at 7.00pm. The senior treasurer of UEC - Dr.JagathGunathilake, former senior treasurer of UEC - Prof.H.M.D.R.Herath, senior member of UEC - Prof.Swarnawimalasiri and Dr. Nanda Gunawardena attended the event as honorable guest’s .At first; the president of UEC addressed the meeting welcoming all. Then, prof. H.M.D.R.Herath and Dr.Jagathgunathilake expressed their idea about peraCHAMPS 2018 and UEC .Next, the winners were announced. Best hiking teams are awarded for boys and girls teams separately .Participation certificates offered each teams and shields were given to winning teams .The Nalanda collage - colombo be the champions, the Runners up was Ranabima royal collage - Kandy and the 3rd place was vidyartha collage of peraCHAMPS 2018 from boys teams. The Ibbagamuwa central collage is the champions, Runners up was Pushpadana girls collage - kandy and 3rd place was the St. Andrew's Balika M.V - Nawalapitiya. of peraCHAMPS 2018 from girls teams.
